Marker erected to commemorate those buried in the Hartsville cemetery who died at the Battle of Hartsville
 
 
   
Commander Davis reads the Governors Proclamation designating Confederate Memorial Day Tim Heath, author &  historian, provides  the detail of the battle and puts the outcome in perspective.
 
 

Over 40 spectators, some dressed in period attire, commemorate the day.

The 46th Tennessee provides a 21 gun salute

 
   
Wreaths were placed in honor of those who perished at Hartsville Commander Davis read from a poem honoring our Confederate dead.

The 46th provided another volley.
